A new beginning for Skoda Auto India

Czech auto maker Skoda Auto announced its entry into the Indian used car market with its pre-owned cars. Company vehicles bought under their Certified Pre-Owned’ program will be assured with a manufacturer’s warranty for 24 months or 1,50,000 kms, whichever is first. The company will give attractive bonuses upon exchange of an old vehicle and purchase of a new Skoda model. However, the company will provide warranty on a non-Skoda vehicle as well, though it will be lesser. This project will be titled “India 2.0” by the auto company, its parent being Volkswagen.

Popular C2C marketplace OLX has a launched a new franchisee-led pre-owned car retail offering. This allows both consumers and dealers to buy and sell used cars, and the model is know as OLX Autos.
